mission is to provide every individual, company and organization in the world with a unique domain, at no cost, while delivering a high quality user experience, offering state-of-the-art fraud and abuse prevention mechanisms, and protecting the rights of brand owners.

The dotFree Group is independent and has been purposely created to apply for and run the .free Top Level Domain. Although .free will be our flagship TLD, we expect to apply for at least two other gTLDs in the first round of ICANN applications (details on those additional TLDs are still confidential at this point).
