.mail (Dot Mail) Domain TLD

25 years after the registration of the first .com domain, we now have several dozens of different generic TLDs and country code TLDs (inlcuding some niche TLDs and poor used TLDs like .aero, .coop, .int, .museum, .pro, etc.) and many other TLDs should be soon approved, including many company names TLDs (like .hp, .canon, .sony, etc.) other generic TLDs (like .xxx, .jobs, .travel, .music, etc.) and also some internationalized ccTLDs.

But, incredibly, the most important and useful TLD we can imagine, a TLD devoted to the PRINCE of the internet services (the eMail) has NEVER been (and still isn't) available nor approved nor proposed, and this is the .mail top-level domain!

Well, clearly, a .mail TLD is a great idea, so, the goal of this site is to suggest and promote (also with the support and help of domains registrars, domainers, blogs, forums, etc.) the approval and implementation (as quickly as possible) of the .mail TLD since it might have many advantages for us all.

I also believe, that, the main supporters of this idea (and of this site) should be the most important (present and future) international eMail services providers like Yahoo, Microsoft or (soon) Facebook, that, with a .mail TLD, might register and own some very simple, easy and short .mail domains like Y.mail, Hot.mail, FB.mail.
